Mom’s Diner Custom Apron

With Mother’s Day just a couple of days away, there is still time to put together a quick gift or two.  I was at Michael’s the other day and saw some plain red aprons and thought it would be fun to turn it into a “mom” apron.

So, I got to work creating a new design. Then, I used heat press vinyl (heat transfer vinyl) to turn this plain red apron into a perfect gift for mom.

Using heat press vinyl makes projects so quick and easy.  There’s no paint or brushes to clean and they always look great when you’re finished. Check out this project to see how I layer multiple colors of vinyl.
